"Well, where do I even begin - Advanced Dream Experience just began as a concept that me and Harmonic talked about for a couple of days, and then became this huge project. Hell, when we started it, we didn't even know each other, but since November, this has been our project, and it's been a pleasure to work with him, we became friends with this. I really don't know what else to say, a lot of it is actual inspiration that came from dreams. I hope everyone that listen enjoys it, and thank you for listening, reading, pirating, whatever. "When we were first going into this project back in November 2021, I barely knew xrt at all. I had only found a liking to the material he made and asked him if he wanted to do a split release, and miraculously he agreed. I’ve always had an affinity with the concept of creating and sensing art from dreams, specifically with music, so when it came time to brainstorm for a concept, this was the first thing that popped into my mind. This one concept helped allow the both of us to create something similar-sounding tracks to each other while remaining to have our respective styles. My tracks were very sample-heavy and rather maximalistic, while xrt’s tracks were more on the original side of things and very minimalistic. I believe this created a very nice contrast that really helps the album achieve its great sense of variety and flow. Over the three months that have been spent on this, xrt and me have grown closer to the point where I’d consider him as one of my best friends now. I am so happy that this album turned out as well as it did, and it very well might be my favorite project that I have worked on under the Harmonic Illusion name to date.
